Using the Customers view in the Helpdesk

Accessing the Customers view

Click Customers at the bottom of the helpdesk queue nav (below group filters). This opens a dedicated view at /helpdesk/customers.

Customer list

All unique customers who have contacted via widget or email are listed, sorted by most recent contact. Each row shows:

  • Avatar initials
  • Name / email
  • Channel icons (📧 Email / 💬 Widget)
  • Total ticket count
  • Open count
  • Escalated count (shown in red if any)
  • Time since last contact

Search

Use the search box to filter customers by email address or name in real time.

Customer detail

Click a customer to open their full profile on the right: name, email, customer ID (if known), stat chips (Total / Open / Escalated), and a chronological list of all their tickets. Expand any ticket to see the opened date, assignee, and last message — with an Open in Helpdesk → link to jump directly to that ticket.
